Very cautious and delightful place to dine!

Was sceptical but we were impressed. We ate at the counter so we did not see the dining room. It was really clean! The staff was very attentive! We had a ham, egg and cheese sandwich on their homemade toast. The sandwich was great with a lot of ham and the homemade toast was really amazing! We also had the farmers omelet (all veggies and meats) it was really good. Again, the homemade toast was great! We weren't able to finish either one. We will be back!

Breakfast comes out fast and is very delicious

Food is awesome and very reasonably priced. Fish fry is my favorite! Only $11 all you can eat fish and they are big fillets every friday.

The room was outdated and in need of serious deep cleaning. Shoes prints on the ceiling and dust covered exhaust vent in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable though.

Excellent omlettes - well prepared, quality ingredients, and good service. The view from the dining room is one of the best in Canton. Not fancy, but worth a visit.

There was no vacancy near Gouveneur. So we ventured out to Canton. Great, friendly staff and big rooms! The diner prices were great. The waitress was super friendly and efficient. The milkshakes were thick and delicious. Even had vegetarian options! Definitely recommend this place!

Moldy food and terrible waitresses mean people who work here. Especially for disabled people I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone with a brain.

Only place for breakfast available at the time.

Our room was rented in September and smelled like mold. We talked to the staff about it and offered a different room. The other room smelled worse. Not good for anyone who has breathing problems or allergies. But the staff were great people and apologetic for the smell in the room.

I have been going here for years. The service is always great and the owners soon is always willing to accommodate people's request.

Dirty to many bugs and needs to be fixed up alot more then what it is

Both the "Burger" and the "Fish and Chips" are great meals in "The Bucc". The 'mac & cheese' with the fish is fantastic! They hired a new cook to support the bar in the evenings and need to expand her hours as she is the best they've had I not a long time.

We have been staying at the Cascade at least twice a year for over 25 years. We have friends who let us hunt their land not too far from there and it couldn't be any more convenient. They accommodate our animals, give us plenty of ice for our coolers and always greet us as part of the family.The food is served friendly, hot and home cooked with very generous portion sizes. The rooms have non-stop HOT water for showers.Upgrades across the board could be had, but as far as we are concerned it meets our expectations and has stood the test of time. For the reasonable prices they charge I wouldn't cry at all for all that comes along with the cost.

The drinks are amazing and at a fair price. Would recommend this to others and definitely go back myself.

Great little place and the food very good !!

Very outdated and buggy.

I DO NOT recommend this establishment. My girlfriend and I went for a brunch, just the two of us, and it took an hour and 20 minutes to get our food. Two tables came in after us and had already been served before us. The waiters seemed to play favorites. The bacon was under cooked to the point it looked like half was left out of the pan, I ordered over easy eggs and they were cooked right through, the sausage seemed like microwaved patties. I will not be going back here again. This has been my worst experience at a diner. I wish there was a zero star rating...

For such a small venue, the Cascade's dining room was a great size for the band I went to see, Iggy and the Imposters. With the Buccaneer Lounge (aka "The Bucc") downstairs, it was great to be able to get out of the crowd for a bit and enjoy a cocktail or brew before jumping back into the fray. With the diner also open, you could even sit at the bar there or downstairs and enjoy a meal if you wanted to listen to the music but didn't want to be in the thick of it. Definitely looking forward to more Saturday nights at the Bucc/Cascade as things are just getting started, it seems!

It a great lil home town restaurant bar and hotel

The diner is a great place for lunch. Moderately priced food that is delicious. Milkshakes are a must in the summer. Buccaneer Lounge is a cozy place for a drink. Wish it was open more .

It's a okay motel. The price is a little high for this place. The rooms are very small and very out of date. Needs some work for sure. Great customer service but the motel needs some work before it's a 5 star place.

Beds could be updated and blankets as well. Not very warm or thick. Tv's are old and not very good. The one we stayed at was in Canton, NY. Outlets were very loose and unsafe, tried to plug in my cell phone charger and it fell right out. We stayed for over a week at one time and two other times just for a few days. Only reason why we had to stay there is because of being homeless. Department of social services put us there. Now we have no where to go.

We were very satisfied. We went in just before closing and were served promptly, not rushed, thanked a couple times as we were leaving. Has grilled chicken, grilled salmon salad, they were fresh, delicious, and lots is veggies in them. Great place, one of our favorites!!

The diner is so so.

Freindly people. Reasonable prices. I recently stayed there while attending my fathers funeral, from out of town. They even gave me a bereavement discount.

Personally I have never slept here but I always do go in for breakfast and their food is amazingly good

Very expensive for a low end motel

I hated it!! There was mold on the shower floor, water was steaming hot, and the food was SO overcooked, and the TV was So old, that I could only go on 1 channel! Air conditioning didn't work, and in my room I don't think there was cold water, because I needed it bc the hot water was too hot! I do NOT RECCOMEND this for anyone traveling!!
